DataDome Joins the Ranks of Great Places to Work 2024!
The cultures and ethnicities pod celebrates the 23+ cultures and ethnicities on our global team, and raises awareness of different backgrounds. The pod’s goal is to work toward creating a welcoming and supportive environment for employees from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds, providing resources and support to BotBusters, so they can learn about different cultures and perspectives, and advocate for policies and practices that promote diversity and inclusion.

We have so many different nationalities and cultures at DataDome that I felt passionate to volunteer as a pod lead to make sure every employee feels valued and celebrated. When employees feel their culture is valued and respected in the workplace, they are more likely to be engaged and motivated. This can lead to increased job satisfaction, employee retention, and overall professional fulfillment.
The pod implemented what we refer to as “Sip ‘n Speak” sessions, virtual coffee/tea meetups dedicated to strengthening attendees’ understanding of different languages, such as French, Spanish, Italian, English, and more. We encourage BotBusters to teach and share knowledge, with sessions led by rotating volunteers. Teaching volunteers come from across the organization—all departments, teams, and tenures are welcome, from any location around the globe!
The cultures and ethnicities pod is committed to celebrating holidays and traditions prevalent throughout various cultures, and spreading education across the organization about the many rituals cherished worldwide. During monthly meetings, pod members review upcoming days or months of significance to honor them and spread the word to the global team. Members volunteer to conduct research, organize in-office or virtual events, and communicate the history of the events to all DataDome employees.

In the mosaic of humanity, I joined the cultures and ethnicities pod because I was drawn to the profound significance it holds within DataDome. Learning new cultures opens minds, expands horizons, and celebrates the vibrant tapestry of diverse traditions. Here, I find inspiration, unity, and a deeper appreciation for the beauty of our shared human story.
