The health and wellbeing pod exists to promote and support the overall wellbeing of BotBusters, both physically and mentally. Members meet multiple times each quarter. Each meeting consists of an open discussion around external activities (cause-oriented runs, marathons, etc.) and fitness events in various cities, as well as internal activities organized by the team. Internal activities include running clubs, football/soccer games, boxing classes, online yoga sessions, and more!
Led by DataDome’s Workplace and Culture Manager Marine Dufoix, BotBusters organized and executed a full month dedicated to physical and mental health in 2023. We engaged external partners to host virtual yoga sessions, guided sophrology (a relaxation method focused on the mind-body connection), and in-office massage appointments. A running challenge was also launched encouraging BotBusters to share their favorite healthy recipes, inspiring songs, and peaceful photos.
Active pod members have joined forces to create the DataDome Football Club. Together, pod participants have also run races like Maif Ekiden and Paris Marathon, as well as supporting each other’s individual goals through our interactive Strava (fitness app) group.

I am someone who prioritizes everyday fitness—the health and wellbeing pod was right up my alley! When I focus on higher levels of wellbeing, my risk of injury decreases, my immune system becomes stronger, and my longevity increases as a whole. Taking care of my overall health makes me feel totally balanced with work and life, and helps me feel my best.
Through DataDome’s benefit platform, Justworks, BotBusters have free access to Talkspace, a mental health tool that connects users directly with on-demand counselors and therapists.
During Mental Health Awareness Month in May, the health and wellbeing pod teamed up with the women empowerment pod to host an internal discussion focused on the impostor phenomenon, which causes 82% of professionals to doubt their skills, talents, and accomplishments. The pods explored healthy ways to cope and combat self-doubt in the workplace.
The health and wellbeing pod collaborates with other pods on win-win initiatives. For example, they joined forces with the sustainability pod to launch a Treely Challenge.
The 12-day initiative focused on exercising for the good of the planet, with each step tracked converting into trees planted in Madagascar.
The result? 932 trees planted!
