The parenting pod promotes a healthy work-life balance, naturally supporting equity for BotBuster parents. Some pod members recently welcomed a “baby BotBuster,” others have years of parenting wisdom to share, and some are future parents interested in learning more. This pod welcomes all members who wish to support working parents.
Maureen Shaw
Director of Communications
"I am a huge champion in ensuring work-life balance, especially as a single mother. Working parents have a unique position within any corporate structure, as there are very specific situations that require flexibility and understanding. This balance has always been respected at DataDome. I wanted to take on a leadership role to make sure this stays visible and be a champion for new policies."
We invited mini BotBusters to draw and doodle what they think their parents do for a living! These interpretations will be uploaded into a virtual coloring book, alongside a “Spot the Bot” activity and fun facts. The mission of this initiative is to promote cybersecurity education at a young age.
At DataDome, 60% of BotBusters work from home, and many of them are parents. As working parents, it is common to juggle parenting and daily tasks. We encourage our BotBuster parents to use the baby chick emoji 🐣 for their Slack status to emphasize empathy and patience among colleagues communicating with parents caring for children.

Business Development Manager, EMEA
"The parenting pod has been a great place for us working parents to discuss, share, and learn from one another. It creates such a unique and warm atmosphere getting to know fellow parents/caretakers from such a diverse background. The topics we bring and work on are great initiatives of equity and inclusion."
