We are thrilled to announce that Teague Dufresne, Director of Channel & Alliances, has been named to CRN’s 2024 Women of the Channel List!
Every year, CRN highlights women from vendor, distributor, and solution provider organizations whose vision and leadership benefit the technology industry. The CRN 2024 Women of the Channel honorees are creative and strategic leaders committed to using their skills to innovate and drive success for their partners and customers. CRN honors these women leaders for their unwavering dedication and commitment to furthering channel excellence.
With over 15 years of experience working in the channel, Teague Dufresne has worked across various start-ups, distributors, and established vendors, building partner programs from the ground up and expanding existing programs to new heights with Tier 1 solution providers.
Teague also participates in many diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives at DataDome. She co-leads the Health and Wellbeing employee resource group (ERG), which promotes and supports employees’ overall health and wellness, and is an active member of both the Women Empowerment and Parenting ERGs.
Since joining DataDome in February 2023, Teague has used her skills in developing strategic alliances and profitable channels to transform the company’s Channel Partner program, accelerating the delivery of best-in-class bot and online fraud protection to organizations globally. This recognition cements her strong vision as our channel leader.
Q: Teague, could you please tell us what this recognition means to you?
A: I am honored to be named among the esteemed 2024 Women of the Channel. Throughout my career, I’ve been inspired by numerous mentors and female leaders who have previously graced this list—it is a true honor to tread in their footsteps. As a mother to an incredible daughter who also works in the channel, it fills me with pride to possibly serve as a living example for her. I hope to show her firsthand the significant influence women can exert in this field and in broader horizons.
Q: You have built DataDome’s partnership program since joining the team, making an impact on everything from our AWS Partnership, which includes many designations, to our technical relationships. Could you please share a little about our partner program and where you see it going?
A: DataDome’s partner program is designed to help our partners generate revenue, differentiate themselves in the marketplace, and increase value to their customers.
When speaking with partners, I often hear that bot mitigation and online fraud solutions are a gap in their portfolio of products. Partnering with DataDome allows them to provide industry-leading protection to their customers while creating new revenue streams for their organization.
As for the future: DataDome’s plans for its channel business are directly tied to ensuring continued success in stopping bad bots in their tracks and securing the world’s leading websites, mobile apps, and APIs. Supporting partners’ business goals by providing a best-in-class offering to address their clients’ bot and online fraud security concerns is key to achieving this success.
In the past year, Teague has supported numerous partner conferences, cemented DataDome as a CRN Top Ten Hottest Startup, was featured in IT Pro with insight into how a strong partner program empowers the fight against fraud, and secured DataDome as the only bot mitigation specialist to achieve both the AWS Retail and Security Competency designations.
Q: What is the achievement you are most proud of?
A: I am really proud of building a partner program from inception and the cross-team collaboration that has come together to grow the partner ecosystem. The entire organization—leadership, legal, marketing, operations, and sales—is invested in making DataDome’s venture into the channel a successful one.
